Biography

Michael Kasbar serves as Executive Chairman of the company's Board of Directors.

Prior to assuming this role, he served as Chief Executive Officer from January 2012 through December 2025 and became Chairman in 2014. Earlier in his tenure, he held leadership positions including President and Chief Operating Officer, helping drive the company's growth through strategic acquisitions and a focus on operational excellence.

Mr. Kasbar joined the organization in 1995 as Chief Executive Officer of World Fuel Services Americas, Inc., the company’s principal subsidiary engaged in the marine fuel services business. Before joining the company, he and his partner, Paul Stebbins, co-founded Trans-Tec Services, Inc., a global marine fuel services company that was later acquired by the company.
